Giving the Community Much-Needed Assistance
Our 501(c)3 organization is continually looking for ways to help the community of Richmond. Although we’re newly opened, we are taking further steps to improve our health facilities by applying to become a designated FQHC Look Alike, which is a designation from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the federal government. This designation is given based on community need and would greatly benefit the community.
Board of Directors
At Neighborhood Health Center, our board of directors is made up of community members who are strongly committed to the health and well-being of Wayne County citizens. These board members are people who will be served by the center and also represent the demographics of our patient population, so we can better understand exactly what our patients need and require in order to maintain fitness and health. At Neighborhood Health Center, we are here to be your advocates, and that starts by having a board of directors that relates to you.

We have carefully selected the location of our clinic to be in an area that is accessible to the majority of Richmond residents. We chose the location of our health center based on the availability of space, its close proximity to the community need, and its access to public transportation. In addition, we accept most insurance plans and have room to add more insurance plans should the need arise. Neighborhood Health Center is here to assist you and your loved ones with experienced physicians and valuable patient resources.
